Our Church Story

A group of God fearing, Jesus loving men women and children took note of their spiritual situation and began to pray. They came to the decision that God was calling them to begin a congregation in the Church of God Reformation Movement. After meeting in homes and cabins in a local park they finally landed in a house on East 16th Street. They purchased the house and over time added to it.
Eventually, the church came to have a new sanctuary and a new educational wing leaving no need for the house. It was finally torn down. Over the years, the church was pastored by its founding pastor, Herbert J. Miller. Pastor L. David Hopper and since Feb. of 2001, current pastor Douglas Lucy. Since our birth in 1961, the church has proudly been a part of the Church of God Reformation Movement with our international headquarters currently located in Anderson, Indiana.
